The pedestrian footpath

A rock sided pedestrian footpath has connected the main beach to the Port since 2008. With an overall 1km length, this footpath allows pedestrians, strollers and people with reduced mobility to go along the coast from the pedestrian neighbourhood, Les Mielles, to the quayside and shops of the port. It notably creates easier access for leisure boaters to the tourist centre of the resort and allows for the marina to be a major economic pole in the life of Saint-Cast le Guildo.

This path has become the must-go gathering for walkers and offers a rare panorama, changing with the tides: with a high coefficient in winter, the waves overlap the path.
