7 fine sandy beaches

Surrounded by two bays, the Bay of Arguenon and Bay of Fresnaye, the Saint-Cast le Guildo peninsula offers great fine sandy beaches as well as secret coves.

Beaches

The Main beach

2km-long, this beach is a must-go for all families who want their children to play in a safe environment. Activities offered on the main beach: beach clubs, sailing sessions, boat and beach tent rental, Cap Armor activities. Dogs are prohibited from June 15 to September 15.

Pen Guen Beach

1 km of fine sand for everyone to enjoy an unobstructed view on the islands of Ebihens. Several activities are offered in July and August: beach club, sailing sessions and boat rental. Dogs are prohibited from June 15 to September 15.

4 Vaulx beach

Located on the south-side of the town, it is a must-go location for all shellfish pickers. You will find there several burrowing shellfish, such as cockles, clams... Note that mussel and oyster picking is prohibited for non-professionals from May 1 to August 31 each year. This beach is also the only access point to the oyster parks and mussel beds. Indeed, north of this beach, you will find mussel beds and Arguenon oysters. Not far from there, you may reach the shell farms to buy these shellfish directly from the producers. Dogs are prohibited from June 15 to September 15.

La mare, la Pissotte & la Fresnaye beaches

You will enjoy bathing in the sun and all the beneficial effects of the sea in these charming little coves located in the north part of the town. Dogs are prohibited from June 15 to September 15.

La Fosse beach

Located on the far-west of the resort, this beach is located very closely to the shellfish farm of the Bay of Fresnaye. This wild beach is also a perfect spot for all shellfish pickers. Picking burrowing shellfish, such as cockles, clams is prohibited for health reasons. Note that mussel and oyster picking is prohibited for non-professionals from May 1 to August 31 each year. Dogs are prohibited from June 15 to September 15.
